About

The Christchurch Quay Splash Park (also known as the Quomps Splash Park) is a popular, free outdoor water play area in the heart of the town. It is open during the warmer summer months, and opening dates and times of operation can be found on our dedicated Splash Park Facebook page. Christchurch Town Council is proud to offer this vibrant and accessible play space free of charge to both the local community and visitors.

Designed for children, the Splash Park features a large splash pad with water jets, sprays, and interactive water features (such as a pump, channels and sluices) as well as a paddling pool. It is unsupervised, and parents must stay with their children. Little ones who wear nappies must wear swim nappies.

There is also an adjacent Play Park, managed by Christchurch Town Council, which features a pirate ship, a multiplay unit, swings including an accessible swing, a multiuser seesaw, a toddler pirate multiplay unit, a basket swing, a supernova, a rotating cone climber and boulders.
