About
The Convent Walk was built around 1911 to commemorate the coronation of King George V.
It is a tranquil walk that follows the course of the Mill Stream as it runs parallel to the River Avon, from Town Bridge to Place Mill on Christchurch Quay. It is approximately 500 metres (0.5 km) long on a wide tarmac path suitable for wheelchairs.
