Christchurch Music Festival returns in July 2026, bringing three days of live entertainment to the beautiful setting of Christchurch Quay from 17–19 July. Showcasing an exciting mix of musical styles, the festival will feature everything from soul, Motown and disco to rock, pop, country and world music, alongside a fun-filled Family Day.

With roots stretching back to the 1990s, the event has long been a highlight of Christchurch's summer calendar. Revived in recent years and now reimagined under its new name, the festival continues its tradition of bringing together great music, local food and drink, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
