Christchurch played an important role during the Second World War, with two air bases operating in the area and wartime activity leaving its mark on the town. This special guided tour explores Christchurch Priory and its connections with this important period in local history, looking at the wartime stories and reminders associated with the Priory and its community. Discover a different side of this remarkable historic building and its place in Christchurch's wartime story.

All tours in the Programme may be booked in advance, either online or by calling the box office on 01202 143867. Any remaining tickets will be available on the day from the Gift Shop. 

All tours are led by a member of our knowledgeable team of guides and will begin with a brief introduction to the 900 year old Priory Church.
